professor who re-discovered children's literature
in 2004 when she wrote her first novel, only to
discover it was for kids! Since then, she has
worked on making her writing better and better
by taking classes at the Hudson Valley Writer's
Center, attending conferences, and getting
feedback from other writers. Her first novel,
Red Slider, illustrated by Abby Crews, has
just been released (see redslider.com), and she
hopes there will be many more to follow! As a
college professor, she holds education close to
her heart, and enjoys teaching young children
about reading, writing, and her other love,
science.
